Yes, you can choose to place your ad in one or multiple sections: Main News, Business, Sports, Features such as Mood, Lifestyles and Weekend or target your community with advertising in the Zoned sections.

Does the cost of my ad vary by section?

The ad rates are the same for Main News, Business, Sports, and Features; while the Zoned sections are priced more economically, based on the zone you choose. Increasing your insertions (insertions can be multiple sections, zones or days) gives you the opportunity to earn unlimited free insertions on your chose ad campaign.

How often are the Zoned sections delivered?

The Metro/State section of The Oklahoman, where zoned ads appear, run Tuesday – Saturday.

How do I upload my own ad?

After choosing your publication, you will be directed to select your business category (or miscellaneous) and the desired ad size. On the next page the last template allows you to upload your own ad in its place.

How do I upload my own picture or logo?

On the "Customize Your Ad" page, there is an upload box at the bottom of the page. Here you can upload your own picture or logo.

What if I don’t have any graphics for my ad?

We provide free stock graphics for every category, both in color and black and white.

Do I get to choose where my ad is placed in the newspaper?

After receiving all ad submissions, we will strategically place ads to be the most aesthetically pleasing.

Can I choose more than one zone?

Yes, you may choose multiple zones. In fact, each zone and day selected counts as an insertion, for every 3 insertions you schedule you receive one free insertion per ad campaign scheduled.

Can I make updates to my ad mid-schedule?

Yes, go to and login using your user name and password. Once you are logged in, you can view your saved ads. Under "Your Future Ads", click on "list view all future ads". Click on the ad you would like to change. All efforts will be made to get your change into the paper, please refer to the “Deadlines” tab at the top of any page.

My business classification isn't listed. Can I still advertise?

Yes. Select Miscellaneous or any of the business categories to select a template that you like. You'll be able to customize your ad and upload your logo in the next step.

How do I pay for my ad?

Use your Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express card.

Will I receive confirmation that my ad has been processed?

A confirmation e-mail will be sent to the email address listed for your account.

Is there 24 hour self service customer assistance?

Our business hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. We will return all calls or questions within 1 business day.

What format should I submit my own ad in?

Acceptable high resolution formats include: PDF, TIF, EPS, and JPG. Resolution must be at least 200 dpi.

Can I spell check my ad?

Yes, click on the ABC icon located on the right hand side of your text box.

Yes. You will be asked to create an ad schedule after you customize your ad.
